Go John! Go John! The Drag"O"n Rapid! I wanna see that one! |

Well, if that what full house means then I guess not full house. My mistake. No flaps on this one, but I was pondering them quite a bit. The wings will be removable, so another set with flaps could be made ;o). This one will have leading edge slats though. This thing is quite small. |

This will be neat. I really look forward to seeing it fly...though I have no doubts it will, and well. By "full house" do you mean flaps? ;-) |

Why would you be surprised to see it already listed? ;-) This will be the first. |

I was surprised to see this kit already listed on the the "Aircraft Listing" here. Bummed nobody built it yet. It's nice to see someone elses build and take notes. James (Good), was it yours? You had mentioned that you had the "DH Dragon Rapid" like me. Thought you might have a penchant for older British aircraft, wonder why...He...He, Thanks JohnG. Phil. |

Excellent Philip...all your work here is quite ingenious. |

Shimmed the hoop with 1/8" Balsa and doublestick tape. Then just plane down the thickness. T.E to just over 1/16" at angle, and L.E. thickness taper from greatest chord point to inboard and tip. |

Do it twice. Next time, two forms. Yessiree. |

Tried using a piece of styrene as a strap around the tips. It worked. Yahoo! Thought it might melt in the microwave. |

Lams are in. 2 pc. 1/32" Balsa, 2pc .020 Bass alternating, Bass out. Used the "Mega" steamer to localize softening only in the areas that needed to be bent. |

As with the Holiday, I'm laminating the wing profile. It has been proven VERY durable. This time I've included the L.E. so it's one homogenous hoop (till I cut the Ailerons, that is). 3/16" Bass form. |

To make things a little more equal in Jimmy and my flight forrays (he's taken over flying the "Holiday"), DD has wonderfully provided me with, as usual, an unusual aircraft to have at. Will be RC. Full house. Thank You David. Phil. |
