I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Canopy re-do. Cast a duplicate out of "Raylite" castable, machinable meadia, i.e. High density gypsum plaster (similar to Hydrocal). I'll post a picture of the 50 lbs bag of the stuff I've had for a long time. This is my first time trying the stuff.

Oh, I'm sorry, this is my son's old "Thomas the Train" project! Thought I'd say it before some one else does :o).

While I'm at it, I'll be Vac forming a new canopy. This came with the kit. It's suppoed to have a full radius over the crown. Not "Frankensteined" like this one.

The "Monkey Motion" install begins! Just tacking everything in place till I know where it all goes and how it works. Apparently I've decided to install flaps as well.

My bulkhead clearancing for the radio/motor tray is a bit out of whack, but nothing a nice sanding block can't fix!

Beautiful work. I bet they're very strong too. And the observer can see out the front!

The two "re-engineered" formers look very nice

They are close to .018" (1/64+ a little). I just noticed that I mixed up the two formers when I layed them down for the picture...whoops! 5 goes where 4 is and visa(?) versa.
