Canopy re-do. Cast a duplicate out of "Raylite" castable, machinable meadia, i.e. High density gypsum plaster (similar to Hydrocal). I'll post a picture of the 50 lbs bag of the stuff I've had for a long time. This is my first time trying the stuff. |

Oh, I'm sorry, this is my son's old "Thomas the Train" project! Thought I'd say it before some one else does :o). |

While I'm at it, I'll be Vac forming a new canopy. This came with the kit. It's suppoed to have a full radius over the crown. Not "Frankensteined" like this one. |

The "Monkey Motion" install begins! Just tacking everything in place till I know where it all goes and how it works. Apparently I've decided to install flaps as well. |

My bulkhead clearancing for the radio/motor tray is a bit out of whack, but nothing a nice sanding block can't fix! |

Beautiful work. I bet they're very strong too. And the observer can see out the front! |

They are close to .018" (1/64+ a little). I just noticed that I mixed up the two formers when I layed them down for the picture...whoops! 5 goes where 4 is and visa(?) versa. |
