I was going to say that this doesn't look like a Beaver to me.. But then I realized, that this must be a DeHavilland Beaver.... |

Fish, Wildlife & Parks set the trap yesterday. It's been around for a few weeks, but Wednesday night it killed the neighbors 3 goats (the carcass to the right. Came back every night since. They started with leg holds which it tripped Thursday and Friday nights without getting caught, so they went to the live trap. An adult female. I've seen 3 in the wild, but up close they are really big! |

By the way, excellent job on the model and floats. No doubt, they were both a challenge. At least in the context of how we infill the models and take them to another level of magnitude. Absotively posilutely (as my wife would say) stunning!! |

You got it. I'll post them on the S.E. 5 posts. Glad to help out. I'll also send you an email on the dental bits too. |

I've seen one only twice in 11 years out here in the desert. This looks like an adult. Pretty thing. |

Here Kitty, Kitty. Nice Kitty! One of these ended up as road-kill in NW Iowa about three months ago. As one might expect, they are very rare around these parts and the Iowa DNR tried to fine the poor guy that hit it with his P/U. AS Bugs Bunny would say; "What a bunch of Maroons." |

This is the feral cat that has been keeping our neighborhood nervous for a week. |

Thanks, Ray. One more strut from float to fuse behind the rear one, then 2 tubular steps(?) on each "V" and a connector between them. Still have some figuring to do. |

Lookin' good Don. Looks like you go the float struts figured out just fine, (and the corrugations also). |

Reminds me of those lop eared rabbits. On to, as Mr. O. puts it "jimmies and jammies". Sky, could you post a picture of the pulleys you got from Bluejacket please? I need several for the float rudder controls. |

After days of "corrugating" the flight surfaces a test fitting seemed necessary.. |

Don: I tried to laminate some hard 3/32" balsa on either side of a chunk of 1/32" LitePly with the thought that the LitePly would help me to not sand too much off of the profiles. After three tries, each one looking like a Pringle when dry, I gave up. I had a 16" chunk of 130 code RXR iron on the last try but it didn't help. |

Corrigation - 80+ pieces on each wing. DD, I agree. Once will be enough :) |

Voila! I hope. We'll see if it holds |
