When all the lines are drawn on, I'll spray it with a coat of clear to seal everything before starting to add the hard points.

I'm using a Faber-Castell Pitt artist pen and a Top Flite Panel Line pen. These are the same type pens I've been using for some time.

looking really good, do you use a special type of panel pen to do your detailing, david?

I guess the Navy's different. In the 20 1/2 years I served in the Air Force, every form I filled out and every report I ever wrote had to be letter perfect.

making you crazy too, eh? *LOL*

I really like the Tamiya kit and it's great for reference. The Skyraider is 1/20 scale and the plastic kit is 1/48. That means a measurement on the plastic kit is 2.4 larger on the wooden one which makes the placement of panel lines much easier to determine. There's no way I would evn try to assemble the plastic kit, the pieces are just toooooo small.

Man, you have good eyes! Thanks, no.

The double lines as well as the different line weights on the flap and aileron hinge lines look sweet! Really sets them off. Have you tried your Technical pens with the inks yet?
