| Thanks, not to exact scale, but pretty close. I guess they will do for this build. I have learned so much on this one, my first try at skining the wing, planking the fuse, filling priming and sanding for the smooth finish, and now casting with plasic resin. So many great people on V.A. to learn from. |

I kind of got a sick feeling in my stomach as I was cutting a slot in the side of the fuse to receive the exhaust, but I guess it came out alright. Now to get the other side right. |

I've been testing my hand at casting plastic resin parts today. Top is an exhaust manifold from a 1/32 scale plastic P-40 kit, middle is my repro, bottom is Guillow's kit supplied. |
