i was able to fix? that bob. i painted some primer over it and repainted the it. the thing is my plastics are cracking where i used an old testors red cement. i think. i used a different one on the cowl and didn't have that problem. i don't know? never had this much trouble on my previous models. |

First: Testors red is a plastic glue which is recommended for gluing plastic to wood as well as plastic to plastic and is readily available on line. Duco cement, green tube, is nearly identical to Testors green tube cement which is for wood. I don’t think I would call it a a gel. |

Duco cement is sold at most Ace hardware stores, it's about same as the Testors red. Its clear gel that's slow drying. |

i need to glue plastic to tissue or balsa, mlriley, at a slow rate. does the clear parts do that? |
