pfinn, Image # 19510 | 01 Oct 10 22:59 | 1911 winner in the model contest. Must have been a very long exposure. The lighter areas of the image are "Ghosts" of the attendees walking past. There's a couple that may have stood still for a moment if you look closely. Their position looks like they may have been caught through a reflection of some sort. Really nice model. |

pfinn, Image # 19308 | 20 Sep 10 22:13 | Just doing some cleaning out and getting the building area ready for Jimmy and I and found the Guillows catalogs from this me-109 and Jfinn's Fw-190 we built at the same time. The catalogs are dated 1974. That's when I originally purchased these two kits. If you look closely, there's a few not offered anymore. Too bad! |

pfinn, Image # 18275 | 12 Jun 10 18:11 | Jimmy flew for 30 min. The glider flies wonderfully. That's Malibu Canyon in the backround. Snake Hill, CA. |
pfinn, Image # 18271 | 12 Jun 10 18:08 | Well, I blasphemed. Went to my favorite LHS and this was hanging from the cieling (the glider!). Plans built by someone in either Idaho or Montana (tow different stories. Superb craftsmanship. Two servos already installed. My jaw dropped when I saw the price. $85. It's Jimmy's. |
Roring40, Comment for image # 11035 | 22 Jan 10 18:18 | That looks great, many thanks for the heads up, I'll get some of this as well for future projects. |
pfinn, Comment for image # 11035 | 22 Jan 10 17:48 | Roring40, this may be a bit late, but for what it's worth...Looks, and is, the real thing. There are diffent brands, I believe it's also marketed as "Leader" line for fishing too. |
