Ray, I'd be hard pressed not to say that was full scale! Awesome!
LASTWOODSMAN, Comment for image # 3784928 Jan 17 15:13
I meant "TWO" realistic!
LASTWOODSMAN, Comment for image # 3784728 Jan 17 15:12

Wowser. I see you have included the muffler bearing cutoff switch! Outstanding effort!

The front office prior to installing the seat and the rear turtle-deck. I also got the windshields installed; what a pain. I should have baby pictures early next week.

RayL - thanks - now I see. I have been eyeing up that "Micromark" Disc Micro Punch set - 9 punches from 1.0 mm to 5.0 mm in 0.5 mm increments $60.00. Too much coffee for me too - I'm afraid to tell you how many shiny brass "Freshness Seals" I have from the Instant Coffee jars ...

Richard: Thsi is where I start for a Inst. Panel. Punch set from Harbor Freight: Not a precision tool but it works ($40.00 (-) 20%). Pictures of A/C instruments that I have down-loaded, re-sized and printe out on Glossy photo paper. Layout tools. Plastruct tubing of various sizes for the bezels. AND, stron coffee with a good sized jag of Bailey's Irish Creme, good for the nerves, Ya know.. [Funny how the coffee pot never goes empty, but the liquor bottle does :-)]

I like the stitching on fuselage and pinking on the wing ribs. Very realistic.

rgood, Comment for image # 3781324 Jan 17 18:56
Less than 2" across - very life-like. I like!

What a great "Flying Seal" logo for the Alaska Aerial Survey Expedition of 1929 - by Artist Emil Chouree - that just tops off the rugged and handsome good looks of a magnificent air plane!!
rayl, Image # 3781223 Jan 17 13:06

Kind of a crappy shot of what I have so far in the cockpit.
rayl, Image # 3781123 Jan 17 13:05

Starting to fab the Instrument Panel.

More decals. They were prinited out on White and Clear sheets. White for the Stars and the Seal emblem, clear for the rest. The Seal emblem was cleaned up and sized for be by Rueben AKA "F86_Sabre" over on the RC Groups website.
