Cast with Micro-Mark resin using the kit plastic for molds

Gentlemen, I thank you. The box art for this kit has always turned me off but having it nearly finished has given me a new admiration for it and the plane. I have painted it "prettier" than the real plane by using a much more pleasing , and lighter, green and the stripes certainly add to the effect. James, if you should decide to build this one, I have an extra set of wing ribs, courtesy of Guillows ;-) Baby pics should be up later today.

Sweet DD, and James I seem to remember your Nieuport 11 from a while ago...GORGEOUS.

Considering the way they were thrown together under the pressure of wartime production I doubt that any real one ever looked that good. Magnificent!

I think I need to attempt a static model... This is too much.

These are also .020" wire. Cut and paste.
David Duckett, Image # 1796518 May 10 19:58

Poppy said he used piano/music wire for rigging so...this is .020" wire. Bend a short length to 90* and insert in the hole made by a pin. Mark the length, I use paint, and cut. Lay wire on part and put a small drop of medium CA on it. Moral: Always trust your Poppy.
