I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

You took the words right out of my mouth Xanadu! Impressive work John.

Thank you sir, it was well worth the extra effort. Think how easy it will be to make the next one.... now that we know what we are doing!

Beautiful looking prop!

Pre filght...Yegor checks the ammo as Boris prepares to take it for a spin as a monoplane!

Russkie rummage sale!

Ahhh diminutive locust...wax on....wax off!

Before and after. From walnut blank to finished, balanced prop with brass bearing, a little over ten hours.

Funny stuff..........

Russkie belt sander, Boris likes his new ax.
John M Oshust, Image # 282703 May 07 21:21

Boris checks leading edge thickness. Thinking in three dimensons while sanding and filing taxes the neurons!
John M Oshust, Image # 282603 May 07 21:19

Boris, with sand paper and Yegor, with a file, begin to turn a walnut block similar to that leaning on the wing into a replacement for the Guillows plastic prop...3 hours thus far!

DD try CVS pharmacy if they are out west. Toys we be ought to have a "Boris" or something similar.

Good thing Boris is tough. I do wonder, however, seeing the look of innocence on Misty's face, if perhaps a more sinister force, say Bud Man or his pal Jug Man, may have had something to do with it all. "All's well that ends well." Just as well, I looked for his replacement at Wal Mart today but he wasn't there. I spent about an hour in the toy section but he just wasn't there. I did find a John Deere front loader (?) to help me with the heavy tasks in building the next plane so the time wasn't wasted.

This screw, nut, and tab idea of mine will work but the plastic Guillows glued struts would be easier.
John M Oshust, Image # 282302 May 07 21:18

Everything is set, it better be, they used Epoxy!

The mucnkins are back to work securing the Camel for lower wing attachment.

Maybe it was the borscht.

Alas, poor Boris!
John M Oshust, Image # 282001 May 07 21:31

We cannot get much accomplished as Boris is still AWOL! I hope I did not leave him at the cabin in PA! The wind driven fuel pump.

I lost the little bugger somewhere! If I wait patiently eventually he will get hungry and yell like hell and I will locate him. Work stoppage until he returns.
