I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

A glass of Carlo and a small cigar...epoxy sets. Spinner and prop held on with "funtack"!
John M Oshust, Image # 490402 Nov 07 21:55

Al pegs and epoxy hold the prop blades to the spinner.

Custom Al parts left...Guillows plastic right. THe prop is not paint but glass beaded...similar to sand blasted. I must shape the spinner a but and figure out how to put it all together.

Wind generator for the electronic compass....after the wing is on....I have to figue out how to make it. It will be the cherry on the finished product!

I'll second that.

James, I will address the wings after the spinner and prop are manufactured, now they are still components in the box. The wing balsa, unlike the fuse balsa, is very study, borders on bass. Maybe I can finally use some guillows wood on their model!

Wow! Looking really impressive John. Where are those wings?!

Barnstmer...Thank you...remember this plane is a prototype...If I ever build another I will know the the ins and outs!

I new you would do a great job on that cowl, but this is even better than I imagined. Really looking great.

I deleted the misposted image...learn something every day!
John M Oshust, Image # 490101 Nov 07 21:17

Sorry...I misposted an earlir photo. Newly polished nose, decals, and acrylic clear coat/

I hope to complete the fuse (spinner and prop) by Sunday. This way I can chase turkeys next week and return to construct the wing.

Al oxidizes with time, forms a patina. I coated the Al, and decals, with a thin coat of clear sealant. I refer to the nose...tail is wood!

Tonight I re-burnished the AL and applied the decals (the best part of a Guillows kit)
