Once the spinner and prop are complete, I can start wing construction. |

I had to remove the engine magnets for an easy fit, all of this is scratch build....learn as you go prototype. |

There is a wooden nose block behind the Guillow spinner. A scre holds the cowl and engine to the fuse. Tomorrow I hope to make the Al spinner. The spirit had a choice of two. The jeweld blunt original, and a more tapered but plain spinner for its famo |

Looks good for a young fart, or a any fart for that matter.
Just great work John. |

The two Al blades are stacked on each other. Match is pretty close. Not bad for an old fart that has trouble seeing! |

After some draw filing, crocus cloth, and buffing the blades are getting there. |

When finally finished and poilishe the blades will be cut from the blanks and pegged to the Al spinner. |

This looks fantastic! I hope you do not have the problem that plagued Moostang, that would be a shame. |

The wood nose block will be pegged to the engine or firewall, the prop and spinner will spin in the nose block....hopefully. The process easier than anticipated though time consuming! |

Cowl progress.Cardboard template almost there. It must be cut to the blk line. Traced on burnished Al sheeting, then hand fit. A wood nose block guled to its front, the the spinner can be made. |

Johnny, that looks absolutely tremendo. Be very careful, my T-28 was painted with Rust-O-leum brilliant metallic chrome enamel, left to dry 48 hours undisturbed, and soon as I touched it to take it off the hanging string in my garage, BAM... fingerprints. Two packets of kleenex later I sanded off the chrome and reverted back to Tamiya acrylics. |
