I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Very nice, poppy! Wing fillets and panel lines look great.

Thanks. What a surprise as I indicated to them it was scratch-built using only the plans modified.

Sorry, I needed this for my hanger. Note mirror. I used a chrome circle from goody box(P-38) for mirror surface.

simpleflyer, tail feathers sanded to shape from 1/4" balsa sheet. Jedi, sanding primer, balsa fill, a lot of sanding, and lots of patience.

Wow... i wish i could get that smooth as silk finish you get....fantastic!!!

Poppy, I was reviewing this thread and missed the tail feather construction. Were they carved from thick sheet or built up from sheet and ribs?
poppy, Comment for image # 884503 Jul 08 18:09
Sorry about that. Yes the props were carved and spinner was turned from balsa. I got lazy and used the plastic tanks from the P-51D, not exact scale, but close enough. I plan on carving the old style paper tanks later but I gotta take a rest from models and get my kitchen remodelled.
