I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

lots of interesting metal fabrication at the nose, cowl, forward fuselage of these UPF's - also the lower wing roots and the landing gear geometry can pose challenges...nothing you can't overcome BPG - I've seen your work!

That is a sweet looking engine and prop! Nice job! Can't wait to see the build of the WACO.

My project for this winter is going to be a scratch-built WACO UPF-7 modeled after the one my daughter and I flew in a few years ago. I couldn't find a kit but did find some plans online. I couldn't find an engine either but was able to use the Guillows PT-17 engine as a starting point. I then had a reprographics company scale the plans to the engine. So here we go.

Didn't have room for the Tiger Moth so it's on display at the local HobbyTown.

I may have him. Still have the box and leftovers in it. Let me check and I'll get back to you.

Guillows is closed until at least May 5. It would be helpful to know the width of the pilot so I can set up the cockpit trim to fit once I have him.

For Southborough_man: This is the 1/16 scale pilot that comes with the Guillow's PT-17 kit. I didn't put it in the Stearman because I had installed a working control stick that the pilot interfered with. Guillow's may have the plastic parts available if you think this would work. I used this to layout the cockpit dimensions in the Camel and the SE5a. Glad you liked my cockpit.
