I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

"Port" is a nautical term. Aircraft use left and right.....:-)

Port wing light.

Wing navigation lights installed. It takes the four shades of green and those brushes to fade in the wear and tear. Will let it dry overnight and hit it again tomorrow.

Thanks, gents. I'm mounting them right now. That was about 5 or 6 coats to the inside of the lens. The white stabilizer lights will be painted underneath the mounting panel with a touch of aluminum. The seat belt reminds me something Liberace would were around his smoking jacket. I like the tape, but hate the clips.

Slick technique. I must remember this one. Maybe I better write it down to be sure!

RTD89 seems to have conquered that peak with those in his P-40. Those lights are cool as s...!

Heat formed styrene treated with a cocktail of future and food coloring for navigation lights. Masking tape for seat belts. Open to suggestions for a better seat belt constuction. Anyone?

Looks warm and cozy.

Looks great even in close up shots!

Pilot wanted a boom box for long flights got it. No a/c in these but it did have roll down windows. Will let everything cure for a day or two then a light oil wash to give it some depth. Nearing the finish line now.

Gunsight goes in right before canopy closure.

Cockpit looking aft. No masking tape ergo seatbelts not yet installed.
