I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

The red wing walks are painted masking tape.

Very nice David.

Thanks! Someone once remarked that engines, guns, and other parts of a model that require extra work are like kits in themselves. I think panel lines are similar in that you have to go into a different mode. There's nothing to build but the planning and execution usually take me longer. I'm using a 0.3 mm pen marked S for these and I have a 0.1 mm marked XS and a 0.5 mm marked F for other lines.

Thanks. I've tried lots of pens, but didn't know that brand.

Use a triangle to establish a line 90 degrees perpendicular. From those two lines you can get everything else using the ruler, the small plastic model, and a calculator. I use Faber-Castell Pitt artists pens which are available in many colors so if you don't want to use black, you can use whatever you want. They're great to color with, too. Available on line.

Panel lines "add interest", not my words, and intimidate modelers. For me, the best way to start is to establish the axis. Using a pattern from the plans, big piece, draw on the front to back line. Then replace that pattern with the thin one and draw on the line all the way from front to back.

Thanks X 2 :-):-)

Wish I could paint like that!

Super details. The canopies are especially well done as are the engine cowling flaps.

Many thanks. The markings are for the 418th Night Fighter Squadron in the Pacific theater. Google for more info.
