The colors are really bringing this to life. We are all students but I doubt if I'll ever attempt something so complicated, especially if I had to make all the pieces. |

If the sheeting for the wings does not arrive soon I guess my attention will be given to decals. If it snows this week I can taxi test the engines and skis! |

I never would have heard about liquid mask if it were not for the Picasso of planes..DD. Made the wingtips today from laminated sheets of balsa. Shaping tomorrow. |

The P-63 Russkie it has a 69 in span. The B-24 also has a 69 inch span. poppy though they are only pinned the wings are not that far off. The upper surface tapers to the tip from the central hump. |

Sweet! I know those wings won't droop on final install. |

I see the P-63 Kingcobra is a revision of the P-39 Airacobra, will yours be a Soviet Air Force version? Will the B-24 be bigger than the Guillow's kit? |

I just made an executive desion as to the next build. I ordered plans to scratch a P-63 and a very large B-24 (in honor of my uncle) These will keep me busy for a while when the Goose is cooked! |

Sorry, Websters defines Tundra as " A treeless plain of northern arctic regions. So I guess I meant "She will stand out at the south pole". |
Barnstormer, Comment for image # 6121 | 26 Jan 08 20:45 |
Ok, antarctic tundra, kinda like a build board covered in snow and ice. |
John M Oshust, Comment for image # 6121 | 26 Jan 08 20:43 |
Wait until she gets the yellow wings. Antartic...no tundra down there S. Pole! |
