Very broad wings and the ailerons will extend outward for a different shape. |

The cardboard tips will be solid balsa. |

It's the kid in me. I had to see what the Goose will look like. I pinned the wings on to see the size. |

FYI...Fellow "wingnuts"..these are floral arranging pins. The longest is the standard size. I cut them to varied lengths to pin structures to the board. They cut easily and provide great support. |

Carlo and I are winging it again tonight. Stopped at the RR hooby shop sheeting is not in. I guess I finish the framing and paint the fuse this weekend. |

Before collapsing for the evening, I just had to see what the engines and props would look like on the Goose. |

I notched all of the "wing thingies" with a dremel. I cannot make final decisions about stringers untils my styrene sheets are here. |

Working W/O benifit of instructions, Uncle Carlo and I are "WingingIT" so to speak this evening. I do not need a dihedral and the ventral wing surface is flat 38 in span. |

Slightly ahead of schedule the engines, bearings and props are a unit that will be installed when the remainder of the Goose is painted and assembled. As you can see I am starting the wings. |

Prop finishing. The prop bearings are made. I hope to have three assembled prop and engine units this PM. |

John, you hit the nail on the head. A well thought out plan is much easier to execute. |

poppy....Thanx...I am learning that a lot of thinking first really pays off. Like chess I am always thinking at least three moves ahead. The rabbit came out of the hat when I rummaged thru the son's Legos parts. Once I saw hubs that would work the rest just seemed to fall in place. |

And another nice engineering feat!! |

I'm with Misty, very impressive. |

The wing plan just fits accross my board. The goose sits in the center, this whould give you some refence to final wing size. Misty, as usual, is impressed. |
