I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Rod, I thought about it, but the wings are into the fuselage about 1/8". So I don't know if I can do it. What do you think?

Hey SW, it's nothing a careful cut and break will not fix. If you cut carefully along the join you can re-mount in the correct alignment. This is way too good to give up on now!!

Thanks Barny, My next balsa model will probably be a Mig 15,I have a couple of plastics that I want to build first.

Still looking good SW, and the airplane too! LOL. Seriously I think you have excelled greatly in your skill with sheeting models. I think this one is going to turn out very nice and with what you have learned, just think what the next will look like.

Good looking leg! Huh?

I came back inside about 2 hours later, and found that the props had slipped and the dihederal was lost. I think I'll let it go.

I had it lined perfectyl, with a good looking dihederal, propped it up and went outside to work in the garden.

SW...Moos and I said basically the same thing differently....except for my dowels thru the fuse into each wing!

Well, the instructions don't deal with it. Just like they don't deal with how to construct the tops of the nacelles, they've got one drawing but it's not very clear as to what you do.

Have you considered the old Polish saying, "When all else fails READ the instructions"? Then, if you can not understand the instructions email Tech Support at the company. Been there and done that myself with EasyBuilt.

Before attaching the wing I would have set the fuse perpendicular to the horizontal. Placed two dowels thru the fuse. Dry fitted the wings on the dowels determining dihedral. The jigged the wings to support the wings. When all set glue the wings as a pair, resting on supports.

I would place the fuse on a level surface and check with a small square to make sure the vertical center is perpendicular. Then with dividers or equivalent measuring device transfer the locations from the left cutout to the right. If you could transfer the leading and trailing edge points, Bingo... stencil, then cutout. Use the same fuse set-up prior to gluing for dihedral check. Hope this helps.

I need help with getting the other wing in perfect alignment with this wing.

I've cut a hole in the fuselage to install the left wing correctly. Now, how do I line up the right wing with it?
RodN, Comment for image # 807029 Apr 08 03:06
Coming along nicely SW.
