The tail wheel pant was weely mounted like this. This is carved from a block of balsa.

The tail wheel pant is made and installed. BARNSTORMER...the wheel trousers are taken from a Seversky racer. There wheelly was a plane with pants as large as these.

The cowl is being finished. Used up some white primer. Kills two birds with one stone, I get primer on ans see if I want it white.

Wheel pants are permanent. Now they need fillets. The wheels will undergo a color change. They came from the Magic Box. Originally they were on the Mig 2.95.

DD Thanks a bunch. Your nod makes me happy that I am going in the right body style direction. When complete it will have a 50's hot rod paint job....maybe flames!

I did not get any further on the cowl today but at least I know the engine fits. Both engine and cowl need fine tuning.

The start of a powerplant. Turning an 11 cylinder rotary into an 11 cylinder fantasy radial.

"CRS"??????
John M Oshust, Image # 1147718 Mar 09 19:24

Started the cowl. Suffering from "CRS" I am forgetting how I shaped the first one for the Pfalz.

I made enough dust for today. Time to ponder. Continue tomorrow wearing my hat!
