I have neither sold nor offered a painting for sale in over 40 years. |

You crack me up buddy! Have no idea why anyone would ever think you were serious about selling these around here, etc. Good chuckle for all of us who know you. |

Indulge me. This is NOT an advertisement to sell! The only reason I put a price on it was to reply to Brian'n comment. |

The asking price is $2400.00. If you buy it you can call it whatever you want to. |

Thank you, I'll see what I can find. I got some automotive paint mixed to the color I wanted ( acrylic rattle can )and am letting it cure for another week, may help. |

I use Pactra masking tape in 1/16" and 1/8" widths. It is no longer made but is still available on eBay and some LHS. I believe Tamiya is probably just as good Scotch also makes small width tapes and they might be just fine. I always let paint dry several days before masking. Any masking tape should be rubbed with a rounded object to press the edge of the tape onto the surface to be painted. You can do it on fabric/tissue covered surfaces, too, but with a lighter touch. |

Dave what kind of tape do you use for masking? I have problems with tapes lifting some of the base paint. |

That's too bad. Thanks for the reply, David. |

The rounders on the wings are from a Guillows Spitfire's kit. The ones on the fuselage are quality peel and stick from a supplier in England who no longer offers them. |
