What do you want to ask? |

I really want to ask bout the "blue" area, but I'll just wait and see. Really glad to see this one back on the table DD. |

Patterns for the windows were made from the plans and the lines were inked on. A light coat of blue was painted on which still allows the lines to be seen. Next step is to cover the fuselage leaving the blue area uncovered. |

Each wing/nacelle required 15 separate pieces of silkspan. |

John is a retired aeronautical engineer with a great passion for preserving the Cleveland legacy. He's quite familiar with this site. |

So I cut the door outlines away and added the floor. Now all I have to do is make the doors again after the landing gear is installed. Simple, eh? |

Don: Your solution to building the gear doors was my first plan but I didn't build a suitable framework for cutting the doors free. |

I can but agree and echo these comments, great work and generosity. Every summer I play cowboy for a week or so in the hills SW of Bismark. Now I have to go visit the U. The Mosquito is about the same size as my C-46 (in 1/32) and to this point it has been a great tutorial. Been waiting to see how you handled the gear doors on the nacelles. I know I'm going to say I wish I had thought of that when I finally see them. Thanks for sharing. |
