Thanks... There is history in this chord. My Grand dad had a shoe repair shop. This spool of waxed chord was once used in his shoe sole stiching machine. Now it simulates bungee chord on bi plane LG.

Both look fantastic!! That walnut panel just like the real thing. You have become a master at fabricating bungee cords.

The LG for klaus II complete with bungee suspension.

I assembled a new LG and fabricated an instrument panel to fill an otherwise empty space.

I'd have been happy with any of them!!!!

Very nice, John. They look like the real thing!

Thanks Moos. The chosen prop is solid oak. Right and middle laminated veneer. I did not make the middle peop thick enough for Klaus II and I did not want to use more of my veneer. The oak prop is a piece of flooring.

BINGO O'man. Gotta love a belt sander..like the graining in #1 BTW.

The oak prop on the left gets the nod.

Tnak you. While Klaus II is still in transit the supplies to build it right started to arrived. The carbon rods for the wing arrived today. I used wooden dowels in the wings of Klaus I, I tried to cut corners on the constuction, my first error.

Yes, very nice indeed. The transformation from wood to the look of polished metal. It doesn't get any better.

That cowl is gorgeous, John. I agree with David, very stunning.

Barney, thanks. Usually this would mark the end of the adventure. I await Klaus II and a repeat of the Pfzlz construction, this time, W/O major error....I hope!

Beautiful work John!!!

Tried some of my newly aquired veneer to make another Axial prop (Berlin). Cannot be sure of the length until I get Klaus II build. If I cannot use it it goes into the "Magic Box" for a future build and I shall fabricate another.

The guns have sights, though hard to see here, and minor details. Highlighted the wheels a bit.

I learned a great deal making the leftover cowl from Klaus I. If I must make another for Klaus II at least I will know the procedure. It is all balsa hand shaped and painted.

All look fantastic!
