I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Cut the part lines. Pop out the patterns.

Molding some wheels for DD's Tigercat. Out of a mold box encased in silicon molding material.

Ewoks?

thankyou! from the reviews i read it seems really easy to build.
pfinn, Comment for image # 1381624 Aug 09 15:19
You're welcome. And by the way, from what I've seen, your building skills are just fine for this type of build.

Wow thank you! that looks to be a great investment for when i get better at the slow stick. i would love to do aerial photography when i get better, but thats a long way from now. i would have to get better at building as well, so hopefully when i get better at the slow stick i will be better at building. thanks again for showing me this. its a lot better than buying a full kit for $80!

Rhysleo! Spotted this wing kit (and tailfeathers ) designed for the GWS "Slow Stik" at http://www.stevensaero.com/. Looks like a great way to get some ailerons under your thumbs and also follow in James footsteps and start some aerial photography! Check it out. Phil.

After dinner sunset flight. 90,000 acre brush fires lead to really specatacular sunsets. They even brought in the Martin "Mars" flying boat water tanker for this one.

at least there driving on the right side of the road opposed to the left. lol

Warped wings, warped univeses, and some other warped things! ;) Blame it all on Black Holes!

But, in our anti-universe....

Hey James. Sure. These are pretty generic because I don't use plans so maybe a "How to" Thingee for basic design (just my thoughts) and wing shaping and stuff. There's a whole bunch of this on the web to sift through which I've done so I'll try to give my take on the subject. And Ryhs, I still have to get to a park to give it some serious tosses because my usual small plane flying area has proven to be too small. With a light to medium level toss, it leveled out at about 8 ft. then had a nice gradual left turn with a approx. 50-70 ft Rad. and hit a wall five feet up after a 180 degree circuit. A real launch is a vigorous throw that causes a half loop to altitude and if everything is setup right and the planets are in correct alignment (ask DD for some nightsky shots the day before!:) )the plane will roll to upright at correct gliding speed and circle down in smooth graceful circles. That is, of course, you didn't launch into a thermal. Then it's up, up, and away! And back to the building board.

i agree with james. this looks very cool. how long did it glide in the air?
jgood, Comment for image # 1376019 Aug 09 10:50
This looks very cool, Phil. Maybe you could show us how to build one? I'll set up an aircraft type on here for it if you would like to add more details.

12" WS. Balsa with a Bass lamination in the fuse. Shaped the wing with an airfoil. Need to go to the Park for some hard throws before it's gone. Gotta make sure it flies good! ;)

Been blasted with 2-D work the last two weeks so I took a little break and made a little hand-chuck glider for a neighbor. Flies surprisingly well. Too bad I've got to gift it. But it couldn't go to a nicer person.

With all the 1/16" infill, Spruce, and Bass, it ain't no light-weight but it'll be fine for my purposes.
