Dale1416, Thank you very much. After about a six month manufacture, final photos should be appearing soon at a theater near you! |

rayl, With libation in hand I greeted Leutenant Nigel Nelson as he arrived in the model shop this day. Leutenant Nelson has flight experience gained while developing the BE series. Prior to his transfer here, Nigel served a night squadron in Algeira. He is currently being prepared for this assignment and will be introduced to the VA "crew " tomorrow! :-)) |

Don C. Not to worry about slide decals, for someone who can solder tube LG, making decals is a stroll in the park. Color ink jet printer, decal paper, fixative spray, and you are there |

Thanks. I haven't figured out the art of making decals. I'm not sure enough of my computer skills or my machinery, electronic machinery that is, to go at it. Perhaps someone more learned than I could do a "How to". |

Time to sit back and indulge of your favorite libation. In a word: Stupendous! |

Brian, The Gumster research, engineering, and fabrication. He is like me, I do not like it when I am in the air. Now to find a pilot that is! |

Don C my thoughts exactly when I first saw the BE12a.. The tail skid is very high. I bet the air scoop on the engine and lack of visibility it produces makes landing this bipe a real challenge. The metal cladded blades could till a garden! |

Very nice. I noticed before that there is not a whole lot of clearance between prop and ground when the tail comes up on the TO roll. Had to be some good pilots. |

VA seems to be into propellers this week with counter and clockwise issues, etc. Efforts to create scale props make a real difference. Great results guys !! |

Turning the right way? |

Off and running...Good thing the wheel chocks are holding it in place. I'm sure the micrometer was a big help with this build. |

Contact! The engine started first try. No oil leaks. A bit noisy though! :-) |
