I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Thick 1/8" soft balsa former added in front of the machine gun. Dressed up the gun a bit with a flash guard and metal strap for gun sight.

Now that's detail. I can hardly see that small, let alone old on to it.
Skyediamonds1985, Image # 3564322 Feb 16 21:24

Much better fit. Note, there is nothing to support any covering forward of the machine gun, So, had to make an additional fuselage former.

Installed the last of the "interior wood paneling."

Lots of paper and wood templates followed. Until.....

Figured that just a simple rough cut to clear the machine gun would suffice. Wrong!!

Jgood, unfortunately, after I moved to a new home, by the time I had a chance to get around to properly hang the model, it was attacked by rats. Tried to repair it, but didn't have the time to do a proper job. Parts languished for years until they disappeared.

Very nice, Sky. Do you still have it? We had a neighbour growing up, who flew in Swordfish in the war, he had amazing stories!

Thank you guys. This is the most reaction from anyone I've received. Its greatly appreciated. Coming from you guys, whom to know what to look on a model, thats a true compliment. The Swordfish took me about a year to build. This was long before laser parts were available or any company specializing in offering such services. Each rib and former and all the struts were cut by hand. Used silkspan as covering.
