I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

I have used CA's for years with no problems. As with any glue, a well ventilated area is necessary. I also keep mine in the refrigerator when not being used.

Will do, but for the next few weeks I will not use any CA of any form till my system has cleared up and I have proven to myself it is in fact CA and not a cold that has been dogging me since March 7th. The plastic bag also had some empty CA bottles in it. Last night I was taking out the trash before bed so I opened the zip lock bag just long enough to pull out the empties. I woke up about 4 hours later and spent the next 45 minutes or so coughing.

As a subsitute, without the reaction, I have found that LOCTITE Super Glue in the pinpoint control bottle is excellent. I do, however, use it only sparingly. Give it a try. JGJ

Notice my CA is sealed up and I am using PVA to repair the Tyro. After 3 months of symptoms I have determined I am having similar reactions as Xanadu and John G.

Make that a "steep turn", my proof reading leaves a little to be desired.

Yes, I would hate to do this to the Aero-Star or Hellcat, but at least my dues are paid for the time being and I can fly again for a few hours without fear of crashing.

Ouch! You've got to stop doing that, Steve.

Well, it was over due. After a touch-n-go I was turning and climbing when I saw a helicopter in my planned path so I reversed my turn but got into a step turn and didn't get the wings leveled in time. A wing tip touched the ground and the fuse tore off.

Today was about more than flying the Tyro as Orville here wanted to see my progress on the Aero-Star and the conversion to electric. He got out of flying in WW2 when someone stole his C/L plane off his rack but has picked it up again at the age of 87.

The plane is a little blurry, but that sure is a nice backdrop.

It was cold, windy, and there was a slight mist from time to time, but that did not stop us all from having fun.

These are almost all of the pylon racing planes, the boys from Knife Edge Software showed up just after this photo op.

Very nice facilities your club enjoys.

Near ground there was a gentle breeze down the runway, but about 30' up there was a strong wind pretty much cross runway. Moving between these two layers of air was very exciting and kept me on my toes. I failed today as the Tyro came home in one piece.

I whacked the prop pretty bad and couldn't figure out why I had a bad vibration till later when I noticed one blade was missing about 1/4" off the tip. This morning I'll try to get by on a 9x7.5 (or a 9x4.5) till today's mail brings a new 9x6.

Sounds like you're getting this thing down now Steve? Any damage this morning?

I know that many people enjoy the foam planes (or ARF/RTFs for that matter), and I respect that despite my personal preference for wood kits. I just smile to myself when some complains that it took them 10 hours to get a plane ready to fly, or when planes are identified by someone who saw it in a magazine advertisement. Many people just want to fly and and building a kit is not fun to them. Oh, and the planes here are like $40, and with CC TB18 ESC and motor they are about $85 and the TP 1320 2S LiPo is about $25. The owner of the LHS is selling everything at cost as this year he helped pick the plane and supply all the parts and wants to make sure everyone is happy.

Hey........I fly foamies too while I build balsa.... They are cheap to make, easily fixed, and a ball while waiting for glue to dry on other projects. I also have a Great Planes PT-40 with a OS.40, 60" wingspan.

I was late getting to the field and only got in about 45 minutes of touch and goes before the 9am crowd started showing up. Here three other club members are practicing for the upcoming pylon racing with electric powered P-51s made of EPP... *shudder*.

I seem to be popular with the ladies.
